The Military Family Resource Centre of the National Capital Region (MFRC-NCR) is a community based non-profit organization established to provide information, support, and referral. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of military families and to give them opportunities to enhance their quality of life. Military families can access services as a family unit, individually, or in groups. The Centre is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors with more than 51% of the Board members being civilian spouses.
The most important goal of the Family Resource Centre is to promote active participation of our military families in planning, developing, managing, and evaluating the Centre. We are a place to come together, to learn, develop strengths, and share thoughts, interests and concerns. This centre serves the population of the National Capital Region, which is approximately 6100 military members and their families.
