Santa Claus Parade - Orleans This
year the MFRC-NCR created its
first float for the Orléans Santa's Parade of
Lights. This was a large
undertaking and involved more than 30 volunteers. From the waves and applause our float and soldiers received
along the parade route, we believe that we made a positive contribution to the
overall success of the parade. The
MFRC was very honoured to win the Michael McIntyre Memorial Trophy for best
community organization entry. Michael McInyre was a Firefighter dedicated to serving the
community. We are proud of the
trophy and plaque on display at our Uplands reception area. The Board of Directors and Executive
Director would like to thank everyone who helped with this project. We hope to do this again next year.
